Tender Description
This tender from the Public Health Engineering Department, Zhob Division, Balochistan, invites bids for the supply of HDPE pipes and civil repair works for underground water supply pipelines in Zhob city. The procurement covers two main works: supplying HDPE pipes for repairing underground water supply pipelines in the Municipal Committee area and civil repair work for these pipelines. Both works are critical for maintaining the water infrastructure in Zhob, ensuring reliable water delivery to residents.
The project involves sourcing high-quality HDPE pipes suitable for underground installation, which must meet Pakistan Standard and Quality Control Authority certifications along with ISO quality standards. The civil repair work requires skilled contractors familiar with underground pipeline repairs, addressing engineering challenges such as soil conditions and pipeline accessibility in Zhob. The site location demands careful planning to minimize disruption to the local community and ensure durability of repairs.
Bidders must hold valid Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) registration in the relevant category and discipline. They should also be registered with the Income Tax and Sales Tax Departments, active on the ATL, and have completed similar works in the last three years. Financial soundness and turnover details must be provided as per bidding documents. Firms must submit an affidavit confirming no blacklisting by any government or semi-government organization. The tender fee is PKR 2000, and bid security is 2% of the estimated cost.
The submission deadline is set for 13th February 2026 at 12:00 PM, with bid opening at 1:00 PM the same day at the Executive Engineer PHED Division Zhob office. Bidding documents can be downloaded from the BPPRA website until the deadline. Earnest money must be submitted via Call Deposit Receipt from a scheduled bank. All bids must be delivered in sealed envelopes by hand to the specified address.
Pro-Tip: Carefully review the bidding documents for detailed technical criteria and ensure your financial documents meet the specified turnover requirements. Missing the judicial stamp paper undertaking or incorrect bid security format can lead to disqualification. Also, confirm the deposit of tender fee through the specified bank challan to avoid rejection.
