Hiring of Health and Life Insurance Services

The Gilgit-Baltistan Rural Support Programme (GBRSP) in Gilgit is inviting sealed bids for the hiring of health and life insurance services. This procurement is aimed at securing comprehensive insurance coverage for the organization’s staff and stakeholders as per PPRA rules. Interested firms or companies eligible under the bid document are encouraged to participate. The technical scope includes the provision of health insurance and life insurance services. Bidders may opt to provide either or both services, with bid security required separately for each at 5% of the quoted price. The bidding document is available in English and can be purchased from the GBRSP Head Office upon submission of a written application and payment of a non-refundable fee of Pak Rs. 2,000 in hard form. Eligibility criteria include compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements, including valid FBR registration and experience in providing insurance services. Firms must ensure their bids are complete and free from overwriting, as incomplete or overwritten bids will be rejected. Earnest Money in the form of bid security is mandatory and must be submitted separately for each service. Bids must be delivered to the JO, Administration, Procurement & Human Resources at GBRSP, Near Forest Complex, Jutial, Gilgit by or before July 15, 2026, at 1100 hours. Technical bids will be opened the same day at 1130 hours in the presence of bidders’ representatives who choose to attend. GBRSP will not be responsible for any costs or expenses incurred in bid preparation or submission. A practical tip for bidders is to carefully prepare the bid security documents separately for each service to avoid disqualification. Also, ensure timely purchase of the bidding documents and submission before the deadline to avoid last-minute issues.
