Tender Description
The Multan Electric Power Company (MEPCO) is inviting bids for the hiring of a contractor to provide cafeteria services at its Headquarters and Regional Training Centre (RTC) in Multan. This procurement is for the financial year 2026-27 and aims to ensure hygienic, affordable, and quality food and beverages for MEPCO employees and authorized visitors. The cafeteria will operate daily from 08:00 AM to 09:00 PM during working days, providing uninterrupted service including lunch breaks. The contractor will be responsible for establishing and managing the cafeteria facility, including furnishing kitchen equipment and maintaining hygiene standards.

- Fresh Chapati (Roti) (100gm)
- Paratha (Plain) (100 gm)
- Chicken Biryani (250gm)
- Chicken Korma / Shorba (250gm)
- Samosa (Veg) Per Piece
- French Fries (Regular) (200gm)
- Tea Mix (per cup)
- Daal Fry (250 gm)
The scope includes providing quality food prepared with fresh ingredients, maintaining affordable prices, and operating a take-away facility for MEPCO employees and residents. The contractor must provide qualified cooking and serving staff trained in food hygiene and customer service, maintain cleanliness of the premises, and manage all utility payments including electricity, gas cylinders, and water. MEPCO will provide the premises rent-free. The contractor is also responsible for crockery, cutlery, utensils, and kitchen appliances at their own cost. The canteen committee appointed by MEPCO will monitor quality and quantity, with penalties for non-compliance.
Eligibility criteria require bidders to have at least six months of catering business experience, valid FBR registration with NTN and GST certificates, and must not be blacklisted. A bid security of PKR 50,000 in the form of CDR or bank guarantee is mandatory. The contract duration is two years, extendable on mutual consent and satisfactory performance.
Bids must be submitted online via EPADS v2.0 by Monday, July 27, 2026, at 11:00 AM. Technical and financial bids will be opened the same day at 11:30 AM. Manual submissions are not accepted. The submission address for bid security originals is MEPCO Complex, Wapda Colony, Khanewal Road, Multan.
