Tender Description
This tender invites qualified firms or individuals to provide professional services for the deployment of searchers at multiple shrines across Sindh, including Hyderabad, Karachi, Badin, Mirpurkhas, and Nawabshah. The Chief Administrator Auqaf Sindh requires the hiring of a total of 105 searchers to ensure security and order at these religious sites. The scope covers various shrines such as Dargah Gull Shah Bukhari, Dargah Syed Ali Sarmast, and Dargah Jam Datar Saab, among others. The work involves managing crowd control and maintaining safety during religious events, which demands experienced personnel familiar with local customs and security protocols. The sites are spread across urban and semi-urban areas, presenting logistical challenges that require careful planning and coordination.
Bidders should ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including valid PEC registration under the relevant category for service provision. Firms must also be active on the FBR Active Taxpayers List (ATL) for the fiscal year 2025-26 to qualify. It is advisable to prepare all documentation, including Earnest Money in the form of a Call Deposit Receipt (CDR), and ensure timely submission of both Technical and Financial Bids as per the Single Stage Two Envelope procedure.
The submission deadline is set for 23:59:59 on the closing date, with bid opening scheduled shortly thereafter at the office of the Chief Administrator Auqaf Sindh, located opposite the Session Court Hyderabad. Interested parties should deliver sealed envelopes containing their bids to this address.
Pro-Tip: Carefully review the tender advertisement for specific Earnest Money and stamp duty requirements, as these are commonly overlooked and can lead to disqualification. Also, ensure all bids strictly follow the Single Stage Two Envelope format to avoid rejection.
