Upgradation of Ilkharabad to Matian Road and Improvement/Reconditioning of Road from Dhandar to Kadhala Bhimber

Highways Division Bhimber Azad Jammu & Kashmir, under the Communication & Works Department, invites eligible firms and contractors licensed by the Pakistan Engineering Council to participate in the e-bidding process for two significant road infrastructure projects in Bhimber. The works are being procured under the Single Stage Two Envelope Bidding Procedure as per AJK PPRA Rules 2017. The projects are as follows: Items being procured: - Upgradation of Ilkharabad to Matian Road (Technical No. 76716/C, Estimated Cost: Rs. 36,621,488, Bid Security: Rs. 733,000, PEC Category: C-4 & above, Schedule: 730 days) - Improvement/Reconditioning of Road from Dhandar to Kadhala Bhimber (Technical No. 2917012444, Estimated Cost: Rs. 13,488,000, Bid Security: Rs. 270,000, PEC Category: C-5 & above, Schedule: 730 days) Both projects require substantial civil works, including upgradation, reconditioning, and improvement of existing road infrastructure to enhance connectivity and transportation efficiency in the Bhimber region. The technical scope covers earthwork, pavement, drainage, and associated civil engineering tasks as per the detailed specifications provided in the bidding documents. Eligible bidders must possess valid PEC registration in the relevant category, be listed on the active taxpayer list (ATL) of FBR, and must not be blacklisted by any government department. Earnest Money/Bid Security as specified for each lot must be deposited in the designated account at National Bank of Pakistan, Main Branch Bhimber. Bidders are required to upload scanned copies of the bank receipt and all relevant documents on the e-bidding dashboard. The deadline for submission is 03 October 2026. Technical bids will be opened as per the schedule mentioned in the notice.
