Tender Description
This tender invites bids for the improvement of signologies aimed at enhancing road safety at Allama Iqbal International Airport in Lahore. The Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) seeks qualified contractors to upgrade and install road safety measures that will ensure safer navigation and traffic management within the airport premises, a critical hub in Punjab.
The scope involves the supply and installation of various road signs and safety indicators designed to meet the latest standards. The work will be carried out on-site at the airport, requiring careful coordination to minimize disruption to airport operations. Contractors should be prepared to handle the engineering challenges posed by the busy airport environment, including working within restricted zones and adhering to strict safety protocols.
Bidders must hold a valid PEC registration in Category C-6 for the current year and be registered with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) with an active status on the Active Taxpayer List (ATL). Additionally, a professional tax certificate and affidavits confirming firm ownership, no blacklisting, and details of any pending litigation are mandatory. These requirements ensure compliance with the 2025-26 regulatory framework and maintain the integrity of the procurement process.
The submission deadline is on the 4th of February, 2026, with bid opening scheduled shortly after. Bidders must submit their technical and financial bids electronically via the PPRA E-PAD System and also provide a sealed hard copy at the office of the Divisional Engineer (Civil), Engineering Services Maintenance & Development, Allama Iqbal International Airport, Lahore. The bid security of PKR 160,000 must be submitted in the form of a Pay Order or Bank Draft in favor of PAA Development Works AU AIIAP, Lahore.
