Tender Description
The Deputy Conservator Forest Gwadar is procuring the implementation of In-Situ Conservation Activities for Green Turtle Habitats along the Gwadar Coast under the UGPP Wildlife Component. This tender is specifically for works related to environmental conservation in Gwadar, Balochistan, with an estimated cost of **PKR 73,500,000**. The scope includes specialized conservation activities aimed at protecting and preserving the green turtle habitats, which are critical for biodiversity in the coastal region.
Eligible bidders must have valid registration with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in Category C-4 or above, renewed through the financial year 2025-26, and must hold the required specialized codes. Additionally, firms must be registered with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and the Balochistan Revenue Authority (BRA) with active tax payer status on the Active Taxpayer List (ATL). Other mandatory conditions and detailed marking criteria are outlined in the bidding documents.
Bidding documents can be obtained from the office of the Deputy Conservator Forest Gwadar upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Rs. 3000, deposited under head C-03370 through a Green Challan Form at the National Bank of Pakistan (NBP). The documents are also available for download from www.bppra.org.pk. Bidders must submit the Green Challan Form deposited in the government treasury one day prior to bid opening.
The last date for electronic bid submission is **10 June 2026 at 09:00 AM** via the supplier dashboard on the EPPS system. Tender opening will occur the same day at 10:00 AM. The place for issuance and submission is the office of the Deputy Conservator Forest Gwadar. The bid validity period is ninety (90) days.
A practical tip for bidders is to ensure timely electronic submission through the EPPS system and to carefully prepare the Technical and Financial Bids in separate envelopes as per the Single Stage-Two Envelope procedure. Early preparation of the Green Challan Form and compliance with PEC and tax registrations will avoid disqualification.
