Tender Description
Town Municipal Corporation Malir Karachi invites sealed tenders for the provision and laying of sweet earth, cow dung, and plantation works across different union councils of TMC Malir. This procurement is aimed at enhancing the green cover and improving soil quality in various public spaces under the jurisdiction of TMC Malir, Karachi.
Items being procured:
- Supplying and spreading approved garden soil (sweet earth) free from salt, breaking clods, and removing entire roots (Quantity: 8960)
- Supplying and spreading of well-decayed cow dung manure (Quantity: 5376)
- Providing of tree plantation:
- Neem Tree (1000 Nos)
- Gulmohar (1000 Nos)
- Alstonia (500 Nos)
The technical scope includes the supply and proper laying of sweet earth and cow dung, ensuring soil is free from contaminants and suitable for plantation. The plantation component covers the supply and planting of specified tree species in designated areas. The estimated cost for the entire scope is **PKR 2,000,000**. The contract period is set for 3 months from the date of commencement.
Eligible bidders must have valid registration with the Pakistan Engineering Council in the relevant category and discipline, demonstrate experience with similar assignments over the past 2-3 years, and provide evidence of ownership or lease of equipment and machinery. Financial statements and income tax returns for the last 2-3 years are required, along with an affidavit confirming the firm has never been blacklisted. Bid security of 5% of the contract amount is mandatory, and bids must be valid for 90 days. Bidding documents can be obtained from the office of the Purchase Department, TMC Malir, Main Younus Chowrangi, Landhi, Karachi, upon payment of **PKR 2,000**.
