Annual Contract for Inspection and Condition Assessment of Product Pumps and Electric Motors at PSO Keamari Terminal

Pakistan State Oil Company Limited (PSO) Karachi invites quotations for an Annual Contract for Inspection and Condition Assessment of Product Pumps and Electric Motors at PSO Keamari Terminal. This contract requires monthly inspection services covering the Gasoline and Kerosene sections at the terminal. Items being inspected include: - Monthly inspection of centrifugal pumps: 10 pumps in Gasoline Section and 8 pumps in Kerosene Section - Mechanical inspection parameters such as discharge pressure, developed head, power drawn, mechanical seals, bearing seals, coupling, vibration, temperature, noise, foundation condition, and general condition - Electric motor and control unit inspection parameters including cooling fan, end covers, bearing greasing, connection box, cabling, starting circuit, relays, ampere and volt meters, indication lights, internal wiring, hour meter, vibration, temperature, noise, and general condition - Inspection of pipeline fittings and instrumentation: non-return valve, strainer, gate/sluce valve, air relief valve, line supports, connecting lines, pressure and compound gauges - Foundation and civil condition assessment - Operational data recording such as running hours per pump-motor set The scope includes on-site physical inspection, functional checks, and vibration/thermal measurements consistent with PSO's standard inspection checklist. Inspections must be performed under valid PSO Work Permits with coordination of PSO HSE and Operations personnel. All instruments used must have valid calibration certificates. Deliverables include completed inspection checklists, consolidated reports, corrective action registers, vibration trend sheets, and professional opinions on service life or overhaul needs. Eligibility requires adherence to PSO safety and security rules, provision of PPEs, and compliance with HSE guidelines. The contractor must arrange all tools, materials, and transportation. Quantities are estimated and payment will be made on verified actual quantities. The contract period is annual with monthly visits. Delays in completion may result in penalties of 0.10% per day up to 10% of the purchase order value. Bidders should submit their best prices by the closing date of 29 October 2026.
