The Karachi Metropolitan Corporation Engineering Department invites bids for the installation and improvement of LED street lighting systems and electrical works at multiple locations within District Malir, Karachi. Items being procured: - Installation of LED Street Lights at Mehran Highway from Hospital Chowrangi to Port Qasim Turning - Improvement / Rehabilitation of street lighting system at Bakra Piri Road from Malir 15 to Attok Petrol Pump - Installation of LED Street Lights at Malir Hault and Malir 15 Flyover - Improvement / Rehabilitation of street lighting system at roads of District Malir including UC Office Ghaghar to Mari Goth, National Highway to Dawood Shoro Goth, Muhabat Nagar to Football House, Mominabad Phatak to Shah Jahan Road - Electrical work at N5 from Quaidabad Flyover to Manzil Pump - Installation of LED Street Lights at Manzil Pump and Quaidabad Flyover - Improvement / Rehabilitation of street lighting system at Zafar Town Bridge to Hospital Chowrangi The scope includes supply, installation, and rehabilitation of LED street lights and associated electrical works across various roads and flyovers in Malir District. The work requires compliance with engineering standards and use of quality materials suitable for urban street lighting. Eligible bidders must be registered with PEC in relevant categories, possess valid FBR and ATL registration, and demonstrate prior experience in similar electrical and street lighting projects. Earnest Money Deposit of 5% of the estimated cost is required.
