Installation of Solar Home System in Different UCs of District Chagai

The Energy Department of Balochistan invites qualified suppliers for the installation of solar home systems across various Union Councils including UC Nokundi, UC Barancha, UC Padag, UC Chehater, UC Taftan, Chagai-I, Chagai-II, and UC Amori in District Chagai. This procurement is aimed at enhancing renewable energy access in remote areas of Balochistan. The technical scope involves the supply and installation of complete solar home systems tailored to the needs of the specified Union Councils. Bidders must demonstrate capabilities in construction or manufacturing related to solar projects, with experience in at least two similar projects completed within Balochistan in the last three years, each costing Rs 400 million or above. Subletting or subcontracting across districts is not allowed. Eligibility criteria include registration with PEC, DRAP, or PTA as applicable, presence on the Active Taxpayer List, registration with Balochistan Revenue Authority, and submission of an affidavit confirming no conflict of interest, blacklisting, or litigation issues in the past five years. The bidder must also provide a Green Challan and have a minimum turnover of Rs 1,000 million. Pre-qualification documents can be obtained from the office opposite Night Star Complex, Jinnah Town Quetta, for Rs 2,000 in the form of a Green Challan. These documents are also downloadable from the BPPRA website. The issuance period for pre-qualification documents ends on 18 May 2026 at 10:00 AM. The last date for submission of pre-qualification applications is 18 May 2026 at 09:00 AM, with opening at 10:00 AM the same day. Bidders should note that only electronic bids will be accepted via the BPPRA supplier dashboard, with no physical submissions allowed. A practical tip for bidders is to ensure timely registration on the Electronic Public Procurement System of BPPRA to avoid disqualification. Early preparation of Earnest Money and CDR in compliance with the tender requirements will facilitate smooth participation in this significant renewable energy project.
