Tender Description
The Public Health Engineering (Dev:) Division Umerkot is procuring the installation of solar submersible pumps at depths of 100 and 150 feet across various Union Councils including Kharoro Syed, M.C Umerkot, Haji Mian Shah, Kaplore, Kacholi @ Marohar Sekhro, Koonjheli, and Faqir Abdullah under the scheme titled 'Providing of 100 Solar Pumps in District Umerkot'. This tender is specifically for contractors experienced in solar submersible pump installation and related civil and electrical works in Umerkot, Sindh.
The technical scope includes boring tube wells at specified depths, installation of 1.00 BHP solar energy systems with 2200 watts capacity, submersible pumps, fiber glass tanks, compound walls, and sign boards. The project involves comprehensive civil, electrical, and mechanical works including supply and installation of PVC pipes, concrete works, and electrical wiring for solar systems. The contract duration is 24 months from the commencement date.
Eligible bidders must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in relevant civil, electrical (solar), and mechanical (pumps) categories, possess valid NTN and Sindh Revenue Board registrations, and hold a valid electrical license. Firms must have at least five years of business establishment and provide evidence of similar works experience with a minimum of two projects valued over PKR 25 million in the last three years. Additional requirements include ISO certifications, valid CNIC of the owner, and submission of an affidavit declaring no blacklisting or litigation.
