Tender Description
The Trading Corporation of Pakistan (TCP), a state-owned commercial organization working under the Ministry of Commerce, Government of Pakistan, invites sealed bids from International Wheat Suppliers for the supply of 750,000 MT (Seven Hundred Fifty Thousand Metric Tons) Wheat with +/- 10% Moislo on CFR in Bulk Karachi and/or Gwadar Basis of the latest Crop Year 2026. The wheat must be imported in bulk cargoes directly or through their local offices or representatives registered with provincial/federal tax authorities, supplying capacity of quality 'Wheat' in bulk through worldwide sources. The tender requires that the wheat supplied must strictly comply with the standards and specifications prescribed in the tender document and Import Policy Order. Bids are accepted for quantities less than 50,000 MT with +/- 10% Moislo. Total quantity of wheat must reach designated ports in Pakistan as per shipment schedule given in the tender terms and conditions.

Tender documents contain detailed terms and conditions, procurement procedure, bid security, bid validity, opening of bids, evaluation criteria, clarification/rejection of bids, performance guarantee etc. Bids are to be submitted in sealed envelopes marked for Technical Bid and Financial Bid, prepared in accordance with instructions in the tender terms and conditions, must be dropped in the tender box placed at Reception Counter of TCP, 4th Floor, Block-B, Finance & Trade Centre, Shahrah-e-Faisal, Karachi, on or before September 16, 2026, latest by 1130 hours PST. Technical bids will be opened on the same day at 1200 hours in the TCP's Board Room in presence of bidders or their authorized representatives who may wish to be present. Financial bids of technically qualified bidders will be opened after completion of technical evaluation on the same day in the same manner. Interested bidders having no local representative or agent and wishing to participate directly must follow the procedure for submission and opening of bids as per tender terms and conditions.
Eligibility includes compliance with TCP rules, FBR/ATL registration, and adherence to tender terms. Earnest Money and Bid Security requirements are detailed in the tender document. Bidders must clear dues along with penalties if any before tender opening. TCP reserves the right to accept or reject any or all offers wholly or partially.
