Construction of Irrigation Channels and Watercourses in Swat under SIDA Project

Sindh Irrigation and Drainage Authority (SIDA) invites sealed bids from eligible contractors for the construction of irrigation channels and watercourses in Swat under the SIDA project. The works are to be executed in various locations within Swat, focusing on improving water management and agricultural productivity in the region. Items being procured: - Construction of irrigation channels (various lengths and locations in Swat) - Construction of watercourses (various lengths and locations in Swat) The technical scope includes earthwork, masonry, concrete lining, and installation of related hydraulic structures as per the detailed engineering drawings and specifications provided in the bidding documents. The project aims to enhance irrigation efficiency and support local farmers by providing reliable water supply infrastructure. Eligible bidders must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in the relevant category for civil works, possess valid FBR/ATL registration, and demonstrate experience in similar projects. Earnest Money of PKR 2,500,000 must be submitted in the form of a CDR or bank guarantee. Bidding documents can be obtained from the SIDA office in Swat upon payment of the prescribed fee to the specified IBAN account. The deadline for submission of bids is 12 October 2026 at 12:00 PM. Bids must be delivered to the Project Director, SIDA, Swat office. Late submissions will not be entertained. The opening of bids will take place on the same day in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives. A practical tip: Ensure all required documents, including the Disclosure Form for Beneficial Ownership, are completed and attached to avoid disqualification during the evaluation process.
