Procurement of Land for 132 kV Gujrat-III AIS Grid Station Construction

The Gujranwala Electric Power Company Limited (GEPCO) invites bids for the procurement of a contiguous piece of land approximately 16 Kanals in size for the construction of the 132 kV Gujrat-III Air Insulated Switchgear (AIS) Grid Station in District Gujrat. The land must be located along the main road in the vicinity of Mauza Aadowal, Murarian Sharif, Dhoel (Khurd & Saray), Rehmania & Mauza Jilliani around Gujrat-Bypass or adjacent areas within a 2 km radius. The site should be suitable for grid station construction and related infrastructure with sufficient frontage and preferably rectangular or square shape. The technical scope requires the land to be free from legal disputes and encumbrances, located at least 100 meters away from distributaries, canals, sewerage drains, or pollution sources, and 500 meters from any river floodplain. The minimum dimensions include a frontage of 67 meters and length of 120 meters. Bidders must submit a technical proposal including latest Fard Malkiyat, Aks-Shajrah, and a Google Earth map of the proposed site along with an undertaking on Rs. 1200/- non-judicial stamp paper confirming willingness to sell the land. Eligible bidders must be registered firms with PRA, FBR, SECP, or PEC. The procurement is planned under the FY 2025-26 budget with funds reserved by PMU GEPCO. Bids must be submitted electronically via EPADS v2.0 by 25 May 2026 at 11:00 AM, with bid security of PKR 1,000,000 in the form of CDR, Pay Order, or Demand Draft. Manual submissions will not be accepted. Bids must remain valid for 150 days with bid security valid for 28 days beyond bid validity. A practical tip for bidders is to ensure all uploaded files on EPADS include the firm's name and a brief description in the filename to avoid disqualification. Regularly checking the EPADS portal for clarifications and submitting queries at least three days before closing is advised. Strict adherence to bid security and technical documentation requirements is essential to avoid rejection.
