LEASE: Allotment of Plots for Shrimp Peeling Units at Karachi Fish Harbour

NOTE: This is an AUCTION/LEASE notice, not a procurement tender. Bidders pay the department to acquire ownership, lease, rental, or collection rights. The Karachi Fisheries Harbour Authority is inviting sealed bids for the allotment of plots on a rental lease basis at Karachi Fish Harbour, a major hub for marine activities in Pakistan. This opportunity is specifically for the establishment of shrimp peeling units, supporting the seafood processing sector in Karachi. The lease period is set for twenty-five years, providing long-term operational security for successful bidders. Items being leased: - Plots M-1, M-2, M-3, M-4, and M-5 (each approx. 1200 sq. yds) for the establishment of shrimp peeling units. Minimum rent is PKR 1500 per sq. yd per annum. Non-refundable tender fee is PKR 5,000 per set of documents. The successful bidder will be responsible for financing, designing, constructing, operating, managing, and maintaining the facility at their own cost and risk, strictly following approved plans and all applicable laws. Interested parties can obtain bid documents from the Accounts Officer at the KFHA office, Fish Harbour, West Wharf, Karachi, during office hours up to 24-08-2026, after paying the tender fee. Bids must be submitted to the Managing Director, KFHA, by 25-08-2026 at 1300 hours. Bids will be opened the same day at 1400 hours in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives. A bid security of PKR 1,000,000 in the form of a Pay Order issued by a Scheduled Bank of Pakistan in favour of Karachi Fisheries Harbour Authority is mandatory. Defaulters or litigants with KFHA are not eligible to participate. The authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids without assigning any reason.
