This tender invites bids for the installation of LED street lights in UC-13, Clifton Block 2, 3 and 4, Saddar Town, District South Karachi under the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation's Engineering Department. The project focuses on upgrading street lighting infrastructure with energy-efficient LED technology to enhance public safety and reduce power consumption in this busy urban area. The scope includes providing and laying PVC insulated copper wiring, fixing 100-watt LED street lights, butterfly moon lights with 40-watt LED lamps, and installing GI single arm double arch poles as per site requirements. The work will be executed at multiple locations within Clifton Blocks 2, 3, and 4, requiring careful coordination and adherence to electrical safety standards. The engineering challenges include working in a densely populated area with minimal disruption to traffic and residents while ensuring quality installation and compliance with specifications. Bidders must hold a valid PEC registration in category C-6 (EE-06) or above, possess an active NTN and Sindh Revenue Board registration, and have an electrical contractor license from the Government of Sindh.
