Tender Description
The Lahore Electricity Supply Company (LESCO) is inviting bids for the procurement of Lineman Safety Boots (Double Density) under Tender No. 4439 for the fiscal year 2026-27. This procurement is managed by the Material Management division of LESCO headquartered at 22-A, Queens Road, Lahore. Bidders are required to submit their sealed bids electronically via the EPADS v2.0 portal by Monday, September 28, 2026, at 10:30 AM, with bid opening scheduled the same day at 11:00 AM. Manual submissions will not be entertained.
Items being procured:
- Lineman Safety Boot Size-7, Quantity: 1908 pairs
- Lineman Safety Boot Size-8, Quantity: 1908 pairs
- Lineman Safety Boot Size-9, Quantity: 1892 pairs
The boots must comply with Specification No. DDS-61:2012 as per approved samples and conform to the standards of NGC/PPMC. Prototype approval from the Stands & Specifications Department of PPMC Lahore is mandatory before mass production. Delays in prototype submission will incur liquidated damages. Inspection and testing will be conducted at the manufacturer's premises by authorized representatives. The delivery schedule requires 50% of the quantity within 60 days and the remaining 50% in the next 60 days from the purchase order date. Early supply is acceptable.
Eligibility criteria include valid FBR registration, active taxpayer status, prequalification with LESCO/DISCO/WAPDA, and submission of bid security or bid securing declaration. Bidders must also provide technical data, ISO-18001/ISO-45001 certificates, and declarations regarding blacklisting and litigation status. The procurement will follow Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) methodology.
Bidders are advised to carefully review all bidding documents available on EPADS and ensure compliance with all terms and conditions.
