Tender Description
The Pakistan Mineral Development Corporation (PMDC) invites electronic bids for the loading and transportation of rock salt from Makrach Mine No. 58 at PMDC Salt Mines, Makrach. This contract covers the carriage of good quality rock salt, specifically excluding boulders or lumpy size rock salt mixed with fines locally called 'soor'. The transportation routes include Makrach Mine to Makrach Bhelowal Depot (16 KM), Makrach Mine to Makrach Weighbridge (6 KM), and Makrach Mine to M/s LCI Khewra (Direct) (36 KM).
Bidders must be registered with Income Tax and Punjab Revenue Authority departments and be active taxpayers with the Federal Board of Revenue. The contract duration is one year, with an estimated annual quantity of 6,000 metric tons for the direct route to LCI Khewra. The tender requires a bid security of Rs. 100,000 in the form of a demand draft or pay order. The successful contractor must deposit a security money equal to 5% of one year production target and comply with all labor laws and safety regulations. The contractor is responsible for loading, unloading, and transportation, including the provision of at least two tractor-trolleys in good condition.
