Transportation of PASCO Wheat Stocks from Various Districts of Sindh to Karachi Food Godowns

The Regional Directorate of Food Karachi invites bids for the transportation of PASCO wheat stocks from various districts of Sindh, specifically the Khairpur Passco Zone, to designated godowns and PRCs in Karachi. This contract covers the period up to 28-02-2027 and requires the contractor to lift wheat bags weighing 101 kilograms each from dispatch centers in Sukkur, Khairpur, and Nausheroferoz districts and deliver them to Karachi godowns. The contractor is responsible for loading, unloading, proper stacking of bags up to 15 to 18 layers, and stitching of torn or slack bags including the cost of sutli. The weight of bardana will not be charged towards transportation. Items being procured: - Transportation of 311,740 bags from various centers of PASSCO Sukkur district - Transportation of 905,260 bags from various centers of PASSCO Khairpur district - Transportation of 82,980 bags from various centers of PASSCO Nausheroferoz district The contractor must ensure 100% weighment at dispatch and delivery points and will be held responsible for any shortages or losses en route. The contract requires the provision of adequate labor and trucks daily, with a minimum lifting capacity of 5000 metric tons per day from each district. Bidders must be registered firms with NTN and SRB registration, have a minimum turnover of Rs. 2000 million over the last three years, and five years of relevant transportation experience. Bid security amounting to 1% of the estimated cost is required in the form of a pay order or call deposit. The tender follows the Single Stage Two Envelope procedure under SPPRA Rules 2010 (Amended). Bids must be submitted electronically through the E-PADS system and the original bid security and documents must reach the office of the Deputy Director Food Karachi at Sindh Govt. Godown No. 03, Landhi, Karachi before the deadline. The bid opening will take place on 28-09-2026 at 02:30 PM at the same office.
