Tender Description
Pakistan State Oil Company Limited (PSO) Karachi invites qualified contractors for comprehensive maintenance and rehabilitation services of six Zoom Towers installed across the Central Zone. This procurement covers a wide range of specialized works including preparatory arrangements for working at heights up to 120 feet, fabrication and welding of steel structures, cleaning, painting, and electrical installation of LED tube lights. The scope includes supply and installation of steel angles, bracings, welding as per API 1104 and AWS D1.1 standards, and application of protective paint coatings. Contractors must provide third party certified cranes, welding plants, and safety equipment, ensuring full compliance with PSO's stringent HSE standards. Deployment of certified welders and HSE officers with NEBOSH/IOSH certification is mandatory. The work site is located at PSO House, Khayaban-e-Iqbal, Clifton, Karachi.
Eligible bidders should possess relevant PEC categories for mechanical and electrical works, valid FBR registration, and proven experience in similar high-risk industrial maintenance projects. Submission of Welding Procedure Specification (WPS), Procedure Qualification Record (PQR), and Welder Qualification Test Record (WQTR) prior to commencement is required. Earnest Money and CDR must be submitted as per PSO guidelines. The technical bid should clearly demonstrate capability in handling high-altitude fabrication and installation with adherence to safety protocols.
