Tender Description
The Provincial Buildings Division No: II, Karachi is procuring maintenance and repair services for electrical works at the Sindh Secretariat Building V Karachi. This procurement covers day-to-day compliant electrical work including providing and fixing circuit breakers, wiring for light and plug points, laying PVC insulated copper conductors in conduits, and installation of electrical appliances such as AC electric bracket fans and LED lighting fixtures.
The technical scope includes both scheduled and non-scheduled items such as circuit breakers of various amperages, wiring with PVC insulated wires in surface and recessed conduits, fixing LED tube lights, ceiling fans, LED downlights, and servicing of split AC units of different capacities. The work will be executed at the Sindh Secretariat premises located at Barrack No.18, Block 4-A, Saddar Karachi.
Eligible bidders must be registered with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and possess a valid PEC category relevant to electrical works. Experience in similar electrical maintenance projects is essential. Bidders are required to submit a Technical Bid along with a Financial Bid and provide Earnest Money in the form of a CDR amounting to 5% of the bid value, which will be converted into a performance guarantee upon successful award.
The deadline for submission of bids is **14-05-2026 at 11:00 A.M.** Bids will be opened on the same day and time at the office of the Executive Engineer, Provincial Buildings Division No: II, Karachi. The contract duration is three months from the date of commencement. Income tax at 8% will be deducted from payments.
