Tender Description
The Executive Engineer Education Works (E) Division Larkano is procuring maintenance and repair electrification works for several government primary and elementary schools including GBPS Rahooja, GGPS Rahooja, GBPS Lal Bux Brohi, and GBPS Sewro located in Shikarpur district. This tender covers electrical wiring, installation of ceiling fans, circuit breakers, switches, sockets, and other related electrical components as per the Composite Schedule of Rates. The scope includes surface wiring with PVC insulated copper conductors, fixing of Bakelite ceiling roses, brass battern holders, circuit breaker panels, LED bulbs, and fan clamps. The works are part of the M&R Works 2025-26 programme funded by the Government of Sindh under the ADP schemes.
Eligible bidders must have valid NTN, FBR and Sindh Revenue Board registration, and an Electric Inspectorate License for the concerned region. Experience in similar nature of electrical works executed in the last five years is mandatory, with at least one work costing 80% of the estimated cost or two works each costing 50%. The average annual financial turnover should not be less than the estimated cost during the last five years. Bidders must submit a properly sealed envelope containing the bid security of 5% of the estimated cost and comply with all bidding document conditions including signed and stamped bids.
The tender documents can be obtained from the office of the Executive Engineer Education Works Electrical Division Larkano near High Court Building, CMC Road Larkano. The deadline for bid submission and opening is seven days after the publish date, with bids to be submitted in person at the same office. The contract period is 15 months from the written order to commence work.
A practical tip for bidders is to ensure all corrections in the bid are clearly rewritten with initials and stamps to avoid rejection. Also, timely submission of bid security and compliance with PEC and tax registrations will facilitate smooth evaluation. Bidders should carefully review the Bill of Quantities and quote rates accordingly to avoid arithmetic discrepancies during evaluation.
