Tender Description
The Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA), through its Logistics Centre (North) located at Lehtrar Road, Rawalpindi, invites sealed bids for the procurement of one Qty-01 Step Down Transformer specifically for Muzaffarabad Airport. This procurement is planned under the financial year 2026-27 with the contract reference number P118690. Items being procured:
- Step Down Transformer, Capacity 50KVA
- Input Voltage 11KV
- Output Voltage 400VAC
- Frequency 50HZ
The scope includes supply of a brand new transformer conforming to the technical specifications provided by PAA. The delivery location is Muzaffarabad Airport with a delivery schedule as per contract terms. Bidders must be registered on the EPADS v2.0 platform and submit their bids electronically through the same system. Manual submissions will not be entertained. The bidding process follows a Single Stage Two Envelope procedure with Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) technique. Eligibility criteria include valid FBR registration, ATL, professional tax, sales certificate, and a declaration of non-blacklisting. Bid security or bid securing declaration is mandatory as per the bidding documents.
The deadline for bid submission is Monday, October 5, 2026 at 11:00 AM, with bid opening scheduled the same day at 11:30 AM via EPADS v2.0. The procuring agency reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Technical and financial bids must be prepared in English and comply fully with the bidding documents. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance guarantee equivalent to 10% of the contract price.
