Maintenance and Repair to Sindh Secretariat Building VI Karachi Including Wooden Cabinet, Window Blind, Door Closer and Allied Works

The Provincial Buildings Division-II Sindh Secretariat Karachi invites bids for the maintenance and repair works at Sindh Secretariat Building VI (Old State Bank) Karachi. The scope includes fixing wooden cabinets, window blinds, door closers, and other allied civil and electrical works. Items being procured: - Painting old surfaces including doors and windows with two coats - Distempering two coats - Supplying and fixing window printed blinds (horizontal/vertical) with approved color - Fixing approved quality door closers with screws and speed adjustment - Supplying and fixing bathroom accessories set (7 pieces) - Providing and fixing lavatory basins with all fittings - Providing and fixing beveled edge mirrors - Providing UPVC pipes and fittings of various diameters - P/F wooden cabinets with laminated sheets and frame work - Fixing door locks, commode seat covers, sanitary fittings including bib cocks, showers, tee cocks, stop cocks, pillar cocks - Repairing 7.5-HP motor with section pump - Fixing drawer locks and railings - Fixing tower bolts of different sizes - Providing glazed earthenware urinal basins with automatic flush tanks - Fixing LED tube lights and spot lights of various sizes - Fixing light plugs, power plugs, multi sockets - Fixing mainhole covers (cast iron) - Wooden partitions with laminated sheets and polishing - UPVC fittings including elbows, tees, sockets, P-traps, Y-tees - UPVC floor traps The technical scope covers civil works, painting, plumbing, electrical fittings, and carpentry at the Sindh Secretariat site. The contract period is three months from the date of commencement. Bidders must have valid PEC registration where applicable, NTN registration, and provide 5% bid security which will convert into performance guarantee. Income tax at 8% will be deducted from bills. Bids must be submitted by 26-10-2026 at 11:00 AM at the office of the Executive Engineer, Provincial Buildings Division-II, Sindh Secretariat Karachi. The bid opening will be held on the same date and time. The contract includes conditions for liquidated damages, quality control, and dispute resolution as per the bidding documents.
