Tender Description
The DHQ Hospital Karak is inviting e-bids through the E-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (E-PADS) for a comprehensive range of supplies and services for the fiscal year 2026-2027. This procurement covers a wide variety of items including stationery, printing materials, lab and dental chemicals, surgical disposable and non-surgical items, bedding and clothing, contingency supplies, X-ray films, furniture repair, oxygen and CO2 gas cylinder refilling, canteen services, car parking, CT scan services for SSP patients, laboratory tests on a discount basis, and medicines for the Sehat Sahulat Programme along with local purchase medicines and Zakat distribution on discount basis. The procurement is managed by the Medical Superintendent of DHQ Hospital Karak, located in the city of Karak, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The technical scope involves supply and service delivery of medical consumables, laboratory chemicals, surgical disposables, and essential hospital support services such as canteen and car parking. The tender also includes specialized services like CT scan contracts and laboratory testing for SSP patients, as well as refilling of medical gas cylinders. The firm must ensure availability of a pharmacist 24/7 for SSP and local purchase medicine stores. The private laboratory and CT scan service providers must be registered with the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Health Care Commission.
Eligible bidders must be registered with the Income Tax and Sales Tax departments and the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Revenue Authority (KPRA) for works/services. Firms should have a well-equipped office, address, and cell number, and must submit a certificate of performance for the past three years. Bid security amounts vary by item category, with the highest being PKR 1,500,000 for medicines under the Sehat Sahulat Programme. The procurement follows the KPPR Procurement Rules, 2014, and the approved rates remain valid until June 30, 2027.
The closing date for bid submission is **July 13, 2026 at 11:00 AM**, with bid opening at 11:30 AM the same day. Bidders must submit bids electronically via E-PADS; manual bids will not be accepted. The original Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) must be submitted physically to the Medical Superintendent office before bid closing. Attested copies of all required documents should be uploaded online. A practical tip for bidders is to ensure all documents are scanned clearly and submitted timely on E-PADS, and to keep the original CDR ready for physical submission to avoid disqualification.
