Supply of Medicines and Surgical Items for SSG Teaching Hospital Gilgit 2026-2027

The Social Services Medical Center (SSMC) SSG Teaching Hospital Gilgit is inviting sealed tenders from well reputed and registered firms or contractors for the supply of medicines and surgical items under the regular budget, Zakat Fund, and Bait-ul-mal for the financial year 2026-2027. This procurement is being managed by the Social Welfare Office, and all interested suppliers are encouraged to participate in this opportunity to serve the hospital's needs in Gilgit. Items being procured: - Supply of Medicines/Surgical Items under the Regular Budget, Zakat Fund and Bait-ul-mal (Amount: 1.8 Million PKR) The technical scope includes the provision of a comprehensive range of medicines and surgical supplies as per the prescribed list, to be delivered to SSG Teaching Hospital Gilgit. The supplier's medical store should be located in the vicinity of the hospital, and the committee will physically verify the existence of the store. Only those suppliers whose stores are verified will be considered for award. The successful bidder must provide medicines on the prescription of a doctor, and unjustified rates will not be accepted. A call deposit of 5% of the tendered amount (refundable) must be submitted in the form of a bank draft in the name of the Social Welfare Officer, SSMC SSG Teaching Hospital Gilgit. Eligibility criteria include submission of an attested affidavit on original stamp paper (less than Rs.10/-) confirming the bidder is not blacklisted by any government or semi-government organization. The prescribed tender form can be obtained from the hospital office during working hours upon payment. Bids must be submitted in sealed form at the hospital office by 24th August 2026 at 11:30 am, and will be opened the same day at 12:30 pm in the presence of bidders. If the date falls on a local holiday, the next working day will be considered.
