Tender Description
The Mineral Development Department Nowshera invites applications from registered minor mineral contractors for auction of one-year minor mineral mining leases in District Nowshera, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The auction covers 22 distinct mineral blocks with specified acreage and fixed reserve prices. Items being procured:

The auction is conducted under Section 78 (3) of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mines & Mineral Act 2017 on an "As Is where Is" basis. Call deposit is 25% of the reserve price for each block. The areas fall within the Kabul River Bed and are subject to River Bed Rules 2022. Interested bidders must be registered with the Directorate General Mines & Minerals Khyber Pakhtunkhwa as minor mineral contractors. Applications must include a Rs. 10,200 application fee, attested CNIC, NTN, partnership deed if applicable, and evidence of paid-up capital. The auction will be held at the office of Deputy Commissioner Nowshera on 21-07-2026 at 11:00 am, with submission deadline on 17-07-2026. The successful bidder must deposit 1/4th of the total bid money as security within three days and comply with all legal and regulatory requirements including transit challans and excise duties.
