Tender Description
The National Bank of Pakistan (Engineering Wing Central) invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the procurement of civil works involving minor renovation of NBP Chak No. 36-SB Branch, R.O Sargodha. This procurement is planned for the financial year 2026-27 and will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding process using the Single Stage One Envelope procedure on the EPADS v2.0 platform. The scope of work includes dismantling of existing masonry walls, false ceilings, tile flooring and walls, doors, windows, glass work, electrical and plumbing fittings, front boundary wall and grills, reinforcement cement concrete works, steel reinforcement, brick masonry, plaster work, porcelain tiles, wooden textured tiles, tile skirting, internal paint works, wooden cabinets, blinds, stainless steel railings, PVC wall paneling, roof insulation with brick tiles, tactile tiles for ramps, stair marble, and stainless steel planters. Plumbing works include supply, installation, testing and commissioning of cold and hot water systems with polypropylene random PP-R pipes, and soil, waste, vent and rain water drainage systems with UPVC pipes and fittings. Electrical works cover branch electrical and networking open wiring concealment, data/voice/TV wiring, wiring circuits for switch socket outlets, fittings, fixtures and accessories including LED lights, fans, power sockets, industrial sockets, floor boxes, technological boxes, data/voice fixtures, miniature circuit breakers, fire extinguishers, and air-conditioning works including supply and installation of wall mounted AC units, copper piping, and related accessories. The contract duration is 90 days with commencement expected immediately or as specified. Bidders must be registered with FBR and Provincial Revenue Board, hold valid PEC registration in category C-6 or above with specialization codes CE-10 and EE-04, and have completed at least three similar projects costing not less than Rs. 1.0 million in the last three years. Bids must be submitted online via EPADS v2.0 by 11:00 AM on September 22, 2026, and will be opened the same day at 11:30 AM. Manual submissions will not be entertained. Bidders are advised to carefully examine the site and bidding documents. Bid security of Rs. 100,000 in the form of pay order, banker's cheque, or bank guarantee must be submitted in original before bid closing. The evaluation will be based on Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) technique. The Procuring agency/Employer reserves the right to reject all bids as per PPRA rules. Technical and financial proposals must comply with the detailed specifications and conditions provided in the bidding documents. Bidders should ensure compliance with all eligibility and qualification criteria. The contract will be awarded to the most advantageous bidder meeting all requirements. - Brick masonry work with 9'' and 4'' thickness
- Plaster work 12mm thick
- Porcelain tiles 1200mm x 600mm grit white and Conolean Brown
- Wooden textured porcelain tiles 300mm x 1200mm
- Tile skirting 11mm thick
- Porcelain tiles on toilet walls and floors
- Internal paint works including plastic emulsion and weather shield paint
- Wooden cabinets with MDF laminated boards
- Synthetic fibre roller blinds
- Stainless steel pipe railings
- PVC wall paneling for BM chamber
- Roof insulation with burnt brick tiles and bitumen coating
- Tactile tiles for ramps
- Stair marble
- Stainless steel planters
- Plumbing works including PP-R pipes for water supply and UPVC pipes for soil, waste, vent and rain water drainage
- Electrical works including open wiring concealment, data/voice/TV wiring, switch socket outlets, fittings and fixtures, LED lights, fans, industrial sockets, floor boxes, technological boxes, data/voice fixtures, miniature circuit breakers, fire extinguishers
- Air conditioning works including supply and installation of wall mounted AC units, copper piping, and related accessories
The contract requires compliance with all technical specifications, timely completion, and submission of all required documents. Bidders must ensure their bids are valid for 365 days and accompanied by the required bid security. The contract will be governed by the laws of Pakistan and disputes will be resolved through arbitration under the Arbitration Act 1940. The Procuring agency/Employer reserves the right to reject all bids and to annul the bidding process without incurring any liability.
