Contractors interested in this tender must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) and submit a copy of their registration. Only contractors listed on the approved MES list in categories A, B, C, or D with relevant experience in similar works are eligible to apply. The tender process requires submission of earnest money in the form of a CDR. Bidders should ensure their FBR and ATL registrations are up to date to avoid disqualification. The technical bid must be prepared carefully to demonstrate compliance with the scope and eligibility criteria.
The closing date for submission is strictly **14th June 2024 at 23:59:59**. Bidders are advised to submit their documents well before the deadline to avoid last-minute issues. The tender opening session allows contractors or their representatives to be present, providing transparency in the evaluation process.
A practical tip for bidders is to thoroughly review the detailed scope of works for each site and prepare a comprehensive technical bid that clearly addresses all repair and maintenance activities. Proper documentation of past experience with MES and PEC registration will strengthen the bid. Early site visits and clarifications can also help in preparing a competitive and compliant offer.
