Tender Description
The District Council Rawalpindi invites bids for multiple Maintenance and Repair (M&R) schemes under the current Financial Year 2026-2027. The procurement is conducted on an item rate basis through the EP system as per PPRA rules. The schemes include providing and fixing missing manhole covers, safety nets, and nullah slabs; construction of safety railing and safety walls on culverts and bridges; and covering and improvement of wells in various union councils within the district.
Items being procured:
- Providing & Fixing missing Manhole Covers, Safety Nets & Nullah Slabs in the Jurisdiction of District Council Rawalpindi
- P/F Of Safety Railing & Construction of Safety Walls on the Sides of Culverts/ Bridges in Jurisdiction Of District Council Rawalpindi
- Covering / Improvement of Wells In UCs Kanoha, Bhalakhar, Choa Khalsa, Smot, Guff, Ghazanabad, Bishandot, Nala Musalmana, Dobairan etc Tehsil Kallar Syedan
The bidding documents are available on the PPRA website and EP system, with submissions to be made electronically via the EP system. Bids will be opened on 24-08-2026 at 2:00 PM in the office of District Council Rawalpindi. Contractors must quote rates as per PPRA rules and item-wise on the EP system. The lowest bidder quoting rates more than 5% below the estimated cost will be required to deposit performance security within 15 days. Earnest money is also required as specified for each scheme.
Contractors should ensure no overwriting, cutting, tempering, or incomplete bids. Installation of caution boards at the work site regarding prevention against human, animal, and financial loss is the contractor's responsibility.
