Tender Description
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Livestock and Dairy Development Department in Dera Ismail Khan is procuring cattle and buffaloes for its livestock improvement program. This procurement is aimed at acquiring healthy animals including bulls, cows, and calves of two years or younger age to support the department’s agricultural and dairy development initiatives.
The technical scope involves the supply of ten healthy animals that meet the department’s quality standards. The animals must be free from any diseases and suitable for breeding and dairy purposes. The procurement process requires bidders to submit earnest money of PKR 10,000 as a refundable deposit. The successful bidder will be required to provide a performance guarantee in the form of a CDR or bank guarantee.
Eligible bidders should be registered with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and listed on the Active Taxpayers List (ATL). Experience in livestock supply or related agricultural inputs will be advantageous. The tender submission deadline is fixed at 10:00 AM on May 6, 2026, and all bids must be submitted to the office of the Deputy Director, Animal Control and Development Farm, Dera Ismail Khan.
A practical tip for bidders is to ensure that all required documents, including the earnest money and technical bid, are complete and submitted on time. Late submissions or incomplete bids will be rejected. It is also advisable to physically inspect the animals before bidding to confirm their health and suitability, which can prevent disputes after contract award.
