Pakistan Railways invites private entities to partner under a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model for the operation of a high-capacity container freight train to enhance efficient container transportation. This opportunity is offered by Pakistan Railways Headquarters Office, Lahore. Items being procured: - Outsourcing of container freight train operation under PPP model The scope involves operating a high-capacity freight train dedicated to container transport, aiming to improve logistics efficiency and capacity on Pakistan Railways network. Interested firms, companies, or contractors are required to obtain Pre-Qualification Documents from the office of the Chief Marketing Manager at Pakistan Railways Headquarters, Lahore, by paying a non-refundable fee of Rs. 10,000 deposited at the Reservation Office. These documents are also available on the Pakistan Railways and PPRA websites. A Pre-Bid Meeting will be held on 24th September 2026 at 11:30 hours in Committee Room No.3 at Pakistan Railways Headquarters, Lahore. Completed applications and Pre-Qualification Documents must be submitted by 30th September 2026 up to 11:00 hours at the office of the undersigned. Applications will be opened the same day at 11:30 hours in Committee Room No.3 in the presence of applicants or their authorized representatives. Pakistan Railways reserves the right to accept or reject any or all applications and to add or delete any wagon offered in the bidding documents. Bidders should ensure timely submission and attend the pre-bid meeting to clarify any queries. Maintaining compliance with PPP requirements and submitting complete documentation will enhance chances of qualification.
