Painting Dome and Allied Area at the Roof of Main Building at SBP BSC Islamabad

The SBP Banking Services Corporation (BSC), Islamabad, invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the procurement of civil works specifically for painting the dome and allied areas at the roof of the main building located at SBP BSC Islamabad. This procurement is planned for the financial year 2026-27 under contract reference P111817. Items being procured: - Structural repairing of dome and allied columns by providing and laying cement-based, polymer-modified repair mortar (approx. 200 sqft) - Providing and applying 03 coats of weather resistant high quality paint (approx. 30000 sqft) on dome and external walls at rooftop - Providing and applying 02 coats of glossy/matt type enamel paint on steel/iron panels up to 35 feet height (approx. 3500 sqft) The scope includes removal of existing paint, surface preparation, plaster repair work, and repainting of the surfaces with approved brands such as ICI Dulux and Berger. The contractor is responsible for all scaffolding, ladders, safety measures including PPE for labor, cleaning, and debris disposal. The work must be completed within 150 days with specific schedules for each lot: 30 days for structural repair, 90 days for painting dome and walls, and 30 days for enamel paint application. Eligibility criteria require bidders to have completed at least two projects related to construction, repair, renovation or maintenance each costing a minimum of Rs. 1.2 million in the last five years. Financial capability must be demonstrated with audited financial statements or bank credit lines. Bid security of Rs. 50,000 is required. Bids must be submitted electronically via EPADS v2.0 portal by 9th November 2026 at 03:00 PM. Manual submissions will not be accepted. Technical and financial bids will be opened on the same day at 03:30 PM. The procurement method is Single Stage Two Envelope using Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS). A practical tip for bidders: Ensure timely registration on EPADS v2.0 and prepare all technical documents carefully to meet the 100% technical passing criteria.
