Tender Description
The Punjab Irrigation Department, Lower Gugera Division LCC East Faisalabad, invites bids for the strengthening of the weak bank in Beam Jess Reach between RD 165-250 to 168-00 Left and Right of Lower Gugera Branch. This tender is open to engineering firms and contractors licensed by the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) under the 2nd Bi-Annual Market Rate system valid from 1st July 2026 to 31st December 2026.
Items being procured:
- Strengthening Weak Bank in Beam Jess Reach between RD 165-250 to 168-00 L&R of Lower Gugera Branch
The work involves civil strengthening of the canal banks to prevent erosion and ensure structural integrity. The site is located in Faisalabad, and the project requires adherence to the Punjab E-Procurement System and PPRA Rules, 2014 (amended). Bidders must be registered with the Punjab E-Procurement System and the Pakistan Engineering Council with the relevant specialization code. Registration with the Punjab Revenue Authority (PRA) for the fiscal year 2026-27 is also mandatory.
Earnest money amounting to Rs. 127,492/- (2%) must be deposited digitally through the Punjab E-Procurement System. Manual bids or bid securities will not be accepted. The bid submission deadline is 11th November 2026 at 02:00 PM, with bid opening scheduled for the same day at 02:30 PM at the office of the Executive Engineer, Lower Gugera Division Faisalabad.
The successful bidder will be required to provide a performance guarantee of 10% of the contract amount through the online payment system and must execute the work as per approved construction drawings and PWD specifications. Bidders should ensure they satisfy all site conditions and mobilize immediately upon acceptance.
