Tender Description
The Supply Chain Management Directorate of Heavy Industries Taxila (HIT), located in Taxila Cantt, Punjab, Pakistan, is procuring a Pediatric Ventilator for the HIT Hospital. This procurement is conducted under the National Competitive Bidding procedure in accordance with PPRA and Ministry of Defence Production rules. The tender reference is Bid No. 5171/IT-6906/2026-27 dated 15 July 2026, with bid submission and opening scheduled for 18 August 2026 at 10:30 AM and 11:00 AM respectively.
Items being procured:
- Pediatric Ventilator Hamilton T1/Equivalent (Quantity: 1 Nos)
The technical scope includes supply, installation, commissioning, and training for the ventilator. The equipment must be brand new, from production year 2024 onwards, and conform to detailed technical specifications including monitoring parameters such as pressure, flow, volume, oxygen concentration, and electrical specifications. The ventilator should have a high-capacity lithium-ion battery with typical operating times of 4 to 9.25 hours depending on battery configuration and usage. The supplier must provide OEM certificates, quality certifications, and ensure compliance with all technical and contractual conditions.
Eligibility criteria require firms to possess NTN certificates, be registered with HIT or provisionally registered before contract signing, and have at least 3 years of experience in supplying similar equipment. Firms must submit audited financial reports for the last three financial years, valid registration certificates, and a certificate of non-blacklisting. The tender mandates submission of a bid security in the form of CDR, Bank Draft, or Pay Order, and a postal order of Rs 2,000/- with the technical bid.
The delivery period is 2 months after contract signing, with 100% payment upon accepted delivery. Warranty and after-sales service for 12 months are required, along with provision of spare parts and technical support for 5 years. The tender also requires submission of a Non-Disclosure Agreement and adherence to integrity and anti-corruption declarations.
Bidders should carefully prepare their technical and financial proposals in separate sealed envelopes, ensuring all mandatory documents and certifications are included.
