Tender Description
The Manager Procurement (PMU) MEPCO (Multan Electric Power Company) invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the procurement of 220KV EG & EA Type Towers and Extensions for transmission lines in Multan, Punjab. This procurement is planned for the financial year 2026-27 and will be conducted through the e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) v2.0 platform using the Single Stage-Two Envelope method with Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) technique.
Items being procured:
- 220-KV EG Type Power transmission steel tower, Quantity: 1
- 220-KV EA Type Power transmission steel tower, Quantity: 2
- 6-Mtr Leg Extension for EA Type transmission steel tower, Quantity: 8
- 8-Mtr Leg Extension for EG Type transmission steel tower, Quantity: 4
All items must conform to NTDC Specification P-163:1982 (amended up-to-date). Delivery location is 132KV MEPCO Warehouse, Khanewal Road, Multan with a delivery schedule of 90 days. The items come with a 2-year manufacturer warranty and require manufacturer authorization.
The technical scope includes supply of complete transmission steel towers and their extensions as per specified standards. Bidders must meet eligibility criteria including PEC category, FBR/ATL registration, and experience with similar contracts. Bid security and performance guarantees are required as per bidding documents.
