Tender Description
The Multan Electric Power Company (MEPCO) invites sealed bids through the e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS v2.0) for the procurement of fire fighting equipment under the reference PMU-33/2026-27 Fire Fighting Equipment (Tender No. P90319). This procurement is planned for the financial year 2026-27 and will be executed in Multan, Punjab. The items being procured include:
- Chemical Foam Fire Type Trolly Mounted 10-Gallon (33 Qty)
- Chemical Foam Fire Type 02-Gallon (30 Qty)
- CO2 Type 40KG Cylinder Fire Extinguishers (13 Qty)
- Fire Buckets (102 Qty)
- AB Powder Fire Extinguishers (645 packs)
- CO2 Type 5 KG Fire Extinguishers (26 Qty)
All items are to be delivered to the 132KV MEPCO Warehouse, Khanewal Road, Multan. The equipment must comply with NTDC/WAPDA specifications and come with a minimum 2-year manufacturer warranty. Bidders must be registered with FBR, have valid NTN and GST registration, and be on the Active Taxpayer List. Experience requirements include at least two contracts of similar or higher rating completed in the last 10 years and a minimum of 5 years manufacturing experience. Bids must be submitted electronically via EPADS v2.0 by 7th September 2026 at 10:30 AM, with bid opening at 11:00 AM the same day. Manual bids will not be accepted. Bid security must be submitted physically before the deadline to the office of Chief Engineer (Development), PMU MEPCO, Multan. The procurement will follow the Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) method under the Public Procurement Rules, 2004. Interested bidders should register on EPADS v2.0 and may seek clarifications by 31st August 2026. The Procuring Agency reserves the right to reject any or all bids. A practical tip for bidders is to ensure timely registration on EPADS and submission of all required documents including bid security to avoid disqualification. Bidders should also carefully review the technical specifications and warranty conditions to ensure compliance and avoid rejection during evaluation.
