Supply, Installation and Commissioning of Portable Fire Extinguishers and Fire Safety Equipment at Sukkur IBA University

Sukkur IBA University invites bids for the supply, installation, fixing, and commissioning of portable fire extinguishers and allied fire safety equipment for all main campus buildings and Campus-II located in Sukkur. This procurement includes a comprehensive range of fire safety items to ensure full compliance with international standards and local regulations. Items being procured: - Dry Chemical Powder (DCP) / ABC-type portable fire extinguishers (6 kg and 9 kg units) - Carbon Dioxide (CO₂) fire extinguishers (6 kg or above units) - Self-activating fire extinguisher balls - Fire blankets (various sizes) - Wet Chemical (Class K / Class F) fire extinguishers (6 litre units) - Sand bucket fire points (sets of 3 buckets with stand) The technical scope covers supply of new, unused equipment conforming to NFPA 10, EN, BS, ISO and other multinational standards. The extinguishers must be of approved brands such as NAFCO or equivalent European brands with CE marking and full certification. Installation includes mounting brackets, fixing hardware suitable for various wall substrates, signage, and instruction placards in English and Urdu. Warranty of minimum two years with free parts and labor is required along with one free annual inspection and maintenance service during the warranty period. Eligibility criteria include valid NTN and GST registration, three years relevant experience, manufacturer or authorized distributor status, and no blacklisting. Bid security of 2% of estimated cost (Rs. 248,850) is mandatory. Bids must be submitted electronically through EPADS only; manual bids will not be considered. The bid validity period is 90 days.
