Tender Description
The Livestock and Dairy Development Department, Muzaffarabad, is procuring Poultry Feed Crumbs and Mesh Layer for its departmental poultry farms. This procurement is managed by the Office of the Director Livestock Extension, Research & Development, specifically serving the Muzaffarabad region in Azad Jammu & Kashmir. The supply is intended to support the nutritional needs of poultry under an open framework agreement for a term of three years.
The technical scope includes the supply of high-quality poultry feed in crumb and mesh layer forms. Suppliers must demonstrate compliance with quality assurance standards such as ISO certifications, mycotoxin-free certificates, and nutritional composition certificates covering crude protein, metabolizable energy, and phosphorus percentage. The feed must meet the standard requirements for layer mash and crumb feed to ensure optimal poultry health and productivity.
Eligible bidders should be well-established poultry feed companies, firms, or authorized suppliers with proven experience in supplying poultry feed to government, semi-government, or reputed private organizations. Financial capability must be demonstrated through bank statements or audited financial reports for the last three years. Valid registration with the Income Tax and Sales Tax Departments and inclusion on the Active Taxpayers List (ATL) are mandatory. An affidavit confirming no blacklisting or pending litigation is also required.
Applications for pre-qualification must be submitted to the Office of the Director Livestock Extension, Research & Development, Muzaffarabad, by 11:00 AM on Monday, April 19, 2026. Proposals will be opened the same day at 11:30 AM in the presence of applicants or their authorized representatives. The procurement process is two-staged: pre-qualification followed by financial bidding for pre-qualified firms.
