Pre-Qualification of Contractors for Construction, Erection, Installation, Stringing, Testing & Commissioning Works at Azad Jammu & Kashmir Electricity Department

Azad Jammu & Kashmir Electricity Department (AJKED) invites pre-qualification applications from contractors/constructors registered with WAPDA/NTDC/DISCO/AJKED in relevant categories and having active status on taxpayers' list of FBR/IRD with valid NTN number and registered with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in the specified categories. The pre-qualification is for various construction, erection, installation, stringing, testing, and commissioning works of 132kV Transmission Feed Lines and Geotech Investigation, Design, Construction, Erection, Testing & Commissioning at multiple sites in Azad Jammu & Kashmir. Items being procured: - Lot-A: Construction, Erection, Installation, Stringing, Testing & Commissioning of 132kV Transmission Feed Line for 132/11kV Grid Station Sehnsa, District Kotli - Lot-B: Construction, Erection, Installation, Stringing, Testing & Commissioning of 132kV Transmission Feed Line for 132/11kV Grid Station Samahni, District Bhimber - Lot-C: Geotech Investigation, Design, Construction, Erection, Testing & Commissioning of 132kV Grid Station, District Haveli - Lot-D: Geotech Investigation, Design, Construction, Erection, Testing & Commissioning of 132kV Grid Station, Jabbi District Bhimber - Lot-E: Geotech Investigation, Survey Design, Construction, Erection & Allotment of Stringing, Testing & Commissioning of 132kV Transmission Line, Jabbi District Bhimber - Lot-F: Design, Erection, Testing & Commissioning of 132kV Transmission Line at 3kV Grid Station Mirpur The technical scope includes high voltage transmission line works and geotechnical investigations at specified grid stations. Contractors must have PEC registration C4 & Above with specialization CE-10, EE-05 and prior experience as per lot requirements. Previous work requirements include completion of similar works with minimum aggregate values ranging from Rs. 40 million to Rs. 161.4 million depending on the lot. Applications must be submitted in sealed envelopes by 11:00 AM on 19-October-2026 to the Director Grids/Construction/Procurement AJKED Muzaffarabad office. The pre-qualification documents can be obtained from the office on or before 06-October-2026 upon payment of Rs. 5,000/- as processing fee. Technical and financial bids will be opened on the same day at 11:30 AM in the presence of bidders or their representatives. Only pre-qualified contractors will be invited to participate in the final bidding. Blacklisted firms and those without valid FBR/PEC registration or experience will be rejected. The evaluation report will be displayed on the AJK PPRRA website and the official AJK Electricity Department website.
