Pre-Qualification of Firms/Contractors for Construction and Installation Works by Pakistan Navy Military Engineer Services

Pakistan Navy Military Engineer Services invites applications along with all credentials for pre-qualification of firms and contractors. The pre-qualification is for various construction and installation works across multiple cities including Karachi, Islamabad, Ormara, Mauripur, and Dockyard. The works include construction of a water reservoir at Karachi, provision of lights in a football ground at Islamabad, installation of fire alarm and ventilation systems at Islamabad, installation of fire fighting systems at Islamabad, electrical power distribution setup at Ormara, repair and replacement of internal electric wiring and fitting fixtures at Mauripur, repair and replacement of internal water supply and Sui Gas fittings at Mauripur, and installation of 08 supply points with rectifier, transformer, and VCBs at Dockyard. Items being procured: - Construction of Water Reservoir at Karachi - Provision of Lights in Football Ground at Islamabad - Provision/Installation of Fire Alarm & Ventilation System at Islamabad - Provision/Installation of Fire Fighting System at Islamabad - Provision/Installation of Electrical Power Distribution Setup at Ormara - Repair/Replacement of Internal Electric Wiring & Fitting Fixture at Mauripur - Repair/Replacement of Internal Water Supply & Sui Gas Fitting/Fixture at Mauripur - Provision/Installation of 08 x Supply Points with Rectifier, Transformer & VCBs at Dockyard Firms enlisted with MES in category 'A' & 'B' or other government departments with relevant experience may apply. Applicants must provide a company profile including details of similar works completed in the last five years, list of enrolled manpower with valid PEC numbers, details of tools, plants and machinery held, bank statements for the last two years, and NTN, FBR, PEC, MES registration certificates. Firms not registered or renewing Pakistan Engineering Council registration by 30th June 2027 will not be considered. Prequalified firms will deposit bid security equal to 2% of quoted bid cost in favor of DW&CE (Navy) Islamabad. Tenders must be received at HQ DW&CE (Navy), Sector E-8, Naval Complex, Islamabad by 1130 hours on 12 October 2026 and will be opened the same day at 1200 hours. A practical tip for bidders is to ensure all registration documents and credentials are up to date and submitted timely to avoid disqualification. Also, carefully prepare the bid security as per PPRA rules to ensure acceptance of the tender documents.
