Pre-Qualification of Firms for Electrical and Maintenance Works by Military Engineer Services

The Military Engineer Services (MES) invites applications for pre-qualification of firms and contractors for various electrical and maintenance works at multiple locations including Turbat, Karachi, and Islamabad. The pre-qualification is being conducted by the HQ DW&CE (Navy), Sector E-8, Naval Complex, Islamabad. Interested firms must submit their credentials and company profiles to be considered for issuance of tenders. Items being procured: - Air Conditioning System of Sports Complex and Water Filtration system for Swimming Pool at Turbat - Uplifting of Internal Electric, Water Supply and Gas Fitting Fixture at Manora Karachi - Provision of Lights in Football Ground and Sports Center at Karachi - Maintenance of Transformers at Islamabad - Provision of Lights in Cricket Ground at Karachi - Repair / Maintenance of 28 x Motor Pumps at Islamabad These works involve electrical installations, water supply fittings, gas fitting fixtures, lighting provisions, transformer maintenance, and motor pump repairs across the specified sites. Firms must be enlisted with MES in category 'A' or 'B' or have relevant government department experience. Applicants must provide detailed company profiles including descriptions of similar works completed in the last five years, manpower details with valid PEC numbers, tools and machinery held, bank statements for the last two years, and valid NTN, FBR, PEC, and MES registration certificates. Firms not registered or renewing their Pakistan Engineering Council registration by 30th June 2027 will not be considered. Prequalified firms will be required to deposit bid security equal to 2% of the quoted bid cost. The deadline for submission is 24 August 2026 by 1130 hours at HQ DW&CE (Navy), Sector E-8, Naval Complex, Islamabad, with opening at 1200 hours the same day.
