Pre-Qualification for Repair and Maintenance Services and Supply for Directorate General of Basic Education Community Schools Islamabad 2026-27

The Directorate General of Basic Education Community Schools (BECS), Islamabad, under the Ministry of Federal Education & Professional Training, invites pre-qualification proposals from well-reputed suppliers, firms, and vendors for repair, maintenance, and supply services during the financial year 2026-27. This procurement follows a Single Stage – One Envelope Procedure under a Framework Agreement. The scope covers a wide range of services and supplies essential for the Directorate's operational needs in Islamabad and Rawalpindi. Items being procured: - Event Management Services - Repair and maintenance of official vehicles including Suzuki, Toyota, and motorcycles - Purchase and repair/maintenance of all types of hardware such as computers and printers - Purchase and repair/maintenance of IT equipment including laptops and IT servers - Purchase and repair/maintenance of machinery and equipment including photocopiers, fax machines, air conditioners, electric geysers, exhaust fans, and brackets - Purchase and repair/maintenance of furniture and fixtures including office tables, chairs, cupboards, racks, and modular furniture - Repair and maintenance of office building including renovation, plastering, tile fixing, washroom repairs, wooden and glass partitions, painting, and minor structural repairs - Vehicle rental services including provision of air-conditioned vehicles with drivers and vehicle tracking systems The technical scope requires suppliers to provide genuine, brand new, and authorized products with manufacturer warranties and after-sales support. Repair services must use genuine parts, and vendors must ensure timely and quality service including warranty replacements. For building maintenance, firms must have skilled masons, carpenters, plumbers, and PEC registration. Vehicle rental firms must provide well-maintained vehicles with licensed, disciplined drivers and vehicle tracking. Eligibility criteria include registration with PPRA, valid NTN and GST registration, ATL status with FBR, minimum three years of relevant experience, valid PEC registration for building works, and documentary proof of firm registration. A bid security of Rs. 200,000 in the form of Bank Draft, Pay Order, or CDR is mandatory. The last date for submission of bids is September 15, 2026, by 10:00 a.m., with opening at 10:30 a.m. Bids must be submitted in hard copy at the Directorate General of BECS office, G-8/4, Taleemi Chowk, Islamabad. The Directorate reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids under PPRA rules.
