Pre-Qualification for Structural Engineering, Architectural Design & Planning, and Geotechnical Investigation Firms

Galiyat Development Authority (GDA) Abbottabad invites proposals for pre-qualification of reputed, experienced, and financially sound firms and individual consultants specializing in architecture and planning to streamline procurement for projects in the Galiyat region. The categories include Structural Engineering Firms, Architectural Design & Planning Consultants, and Geotechnical Investigation Firms. Items being procured: - Structural Engineering Firms - Architectural Design & Planning Consultants (Firms & Individuals) - Geotechnical Investigation Firms The scope for Structural Engineering Firms includes structural analysis, seismic design, foundation and retaining structure design, preparation of structural drawings, assessment and retrofitting of existing structures, and peer review. Architectural Design & Planning Consultants will handle site reconnaissance, topographic surveys, architectural and mountain contextual design, master planning, zoning, urban design, sustainable and eco-friendly interior architecture, and landscape design. Geotechnical Investigation Firms will execute boreholes, soil/rock classification and testing, SPT and soil sampling, rock strength analysis, foundation recommendations, slope stability assessment, and preparation of geotechnical reports. Eligibility criteria require valid PEC registration (C-4 and above for engineering and geotechnical firms, PCATP registration for architects), NTN and KPRA registration, established office/studio in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, minimum 5 similar assignments in hilly/mountainous areas over the last 20 years, availability of qualified personnel and licensed software or proof of support staff, sound financial standing with audited statements for the last 3 years, and an undertaking on stamp paper that the firm is not blacklisted by any authority. The Request for Proposal (RFP) documents can be obtained from the GDA office Monday to Friday, 09:00 AM to 05:00 PM, upon payment of a non-refundable fee of PKR 30,000 per RFP at the GDA Office Tax Branch. Online payment is accepted via Pay Order or Demand Draft. Enlistment documents must be submitted directly to the Galiyat Development Authority addressed to the Director General (GDA). A pre-bid conference will be held on 7th October 2026 at 12:00 PM. The submission deadline is 13th October 2026 at 12:00 PM. Late submissions will not be considered. Hard copies of duly signed and stamped proposals with all supporting technical and financial evidence must be submitted to the office of the undersigned by the deadline.
