Tender Description
The Pakistan Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) Hospital Multan is inviting local chemists and pharmacies to prequalify for a subsequent close framework agreement for the supply of medicines and disposables. This procurement is specifically for the on-demand supply of medicines on green slips for entitled patients at WAPDA Hospital Multan. The scope includes daily supply of local purchase medicines and disposables to meet the hospital's ongoing requirements.
Applicants must be registered chemists or pharmacies holding a valid Drug Sale License, registered with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), and have active NTN and STN numbers. The prequalification process is open to all local applicants who meet these eligibility criteria. The procurement will be conducted through the Electronic Procurement and Disposal System (EPADS), and manual bids will not be accepted.
Interested bidders should ensure they have the necessary registrations and licenses in place, including FBR/ATL registration and valid drug sale licenses. The technical bid should demonstrate the capability to supply medicines reliably on a daily basis. The closing date for submission is **16th June 2026 at 1200 hours**, with electronic bids opening the same day at 1230 hours on the EPADS portal.
A practical tip for bidders is to carefully prepare their electronic bids on the EPADS platform well before the deadline to avoid last-minute technical issues. Ensuring all required documents, including Earnest Money or CDR as specified in the prequalification documents, are uploaded correctly will improve chances of successful qualification. The prequalification documents are available in English on EPADS for review.
This tender offers a valuable opportunity for local chemists and pharmacies in Multan to establish a framework agreement with a reputable government hospital, ensuring steady business throughout the financial year.
