Prequalification of Furniture Suppliers (Manufacturers / Importers / Wholesalers) for Virtual University of Pakistan

Virtual University of Pakistan invites reputed Furniture Manufacturers, Importers, and Wholesalers registered with FBR on the Active Taxpayer List (ATL) to prequalify for supplying office furniture. This prequalification is valid for a maximum period of three years and will enable qualified vendors to participate in future procurement calls for various office furniture items. Items being procured: - Seating Arrangements including Executive Tables, Office Tables, Student Tables, Executive Chairs, Staff/Computer Chairs (mid-back/low-back), visitor chairs, conference room chairs, cafeteria/dining seating/chairs, public waiting area benches/chairs, Sofa Sets (1,2,3 seats), ergonomic mesh chairs - Desking & Workstations such as Executive wooden/steel desks, modular cluster workstations (1-seater, 2-seater, 4-seater, 6-seater configurations), computer tables, reception desks - Storage & Filing solutions including Steel/wooden vertical and lateral filing cabinets, mobile pedestals, low/high storage credenzas, book shelves, lockers, side racks, store room racks - Conference & Meeting furniture like Large conference/boardroom tables, Room Furniture media presentation tables, podiums/lecterns - Auditorium & Studio fixed auditorium seating, specialized Furniture studio/control room consoles, collaborative breakout furniture The scope covers supply of high-quality office furniture meeting standard specifications. Vendors must have offices or partnerships in Lahore and Islamabad, with supplies primarily required in these cities or anywhere in Pakistan. Eligibility requires firms to be registered with FBR ATL, have a minimum of five years experience, and demonstrate financial soundness. Evaluation criteria differ by category (Manufacturer, Importer, Wholesaler) and include experience, network, setup, machinery, staff, and supply chain capabilities. Bidders must submit sealed proposals on official letterhead with office seal and authorized signature.
