Tender Description
The Specialized Healthcare and Medical Education Department Government of the Punjab invites bids for the procurement of 02 MRI Machines for Aziz Bhatti Shaheed Teaching Hospital Gujrat and Mayo Hospital Lahore. The procurement involves supply of MRI machines with a total estimated cost of **PKR 996.616 Million** for both units.

The bidding process follows a single stage two envelope procedure as per PPRA-2014. Detailed specifications and terms & conditions are available in the bidding documents which can be downloaded from the Punjab Procurement Regulatory Authority website and the Procuring Agency's e-Procurement System portal. Bidders must be registered on the e-Procurement System and provide 1% Bid Security of the estimated cost in the form of a CDR or Pay Order.
The technical and financial proposals must include make and model details of the MRI machines. Hard copies of e-Bids are not required. The procuring agency disclaims responsibility for any errors or omissions in bids submitted electronically. Late submissions or incomplete bids will be rejected. Bid validity is 180 days from the date of opening.
A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for 15.09.2026 at 11:30 AM in the Committee Room of SHC&ME Department. Minutes of the meeting will be uploaded on the e-Procurement System and department website within three working days and will be considered as addenda.
Bidders should ensure timely submission before the deadline of 28.09.2026 at 02:00 PM. Bids will be opened on the same day at 02:30 PM in the presence of bidders' representatives who may attend. The procuring agency will not bear any cost or expense related to bid preparation or submission. The procurement is governed by Punjab Procurement Rules 2014 (amended) and Punjab Procurement Regulations 2024.
