Tender Description
The Multan Electric Power Company (MEPCO) invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the procurement of electrical insulators including 11KV Disc Insulator, Pin Insulator, and Spool Insulator for the financial year 2026-27. This procurement is planned under contract reference P87313 and will be conducted through the e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) v2.0 platform. Bidders must be registered on EPADS and submit their bids electronically before the deadline of Wednesday, September 23, 2026 at 11:30 AM, with bid opening scheduled the same day at 12:00 PM.
Items being procured:
- 11KV Disc Insulator (Quantity: 2,906 units)
- 11KV Pin Insulator (Quantity: 5,963 units)
- Spool Insulator (Quantity: 35,736 units)
The items must conform to WAPDA/PEPCO/NTDC specifications (amended to date) and be delivered free of cost to MEPCO regional stores in Multan, Bahawalpur, Sahiwal, and D.G. Khan within 120 days or earlier. The procurement follows a Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) method under a Single Stage One Envelope procedure. Bidders must provide bid security in the form of Pay Order, Banker's Cheque, Call Deposit, or Bank Guarantee as specified. Performance security of 5% of the contract price will be required upon award.
Eligibility criteria include valid FBR registration, compliance with technical specifications, satisfactory supply record with MEPCO/DISCOs, and no blacklisting. Bids must be valid for 75 days and prices quoted must be fixed and inclusive of all taxes, duties, and inspection charges. Manual bid submissions will not be entertained.
