Tender Description
The Directorate of Procurement (Navy), located in Rawalpindi, Punjab, is inviting bids for the procurement of 12 Bore Semi Automatic Shotgun Turkish with a 30 inch barrel. This tender is specifically for the supply of these shotguns to the Pakistan Navy and is managed through the Directorate of Procurement (Navy) office near SNIDS Centre, Naval Residential Complex, Rawalpindi.
The technical scope requires suppliers to submit detailed technical offers in duplicate, including compliance documents, manufacturer authorization letters, price lists, and registration certificates such as DGDP registration and tax filling proof. The procurement process demands earnest money submission in a separate envelope and a commercial offer with clear pricing. The tender documents emphasize strict adherence to PPRA rules and DGDP contract conditions, ensuring transparency and compliance.
Eligible bidders must be registered with DGDP or willing to register, possess valid FBR/ATL registration, and demonstrate relevant experience in supplying defense equipment. Firms must submit earnest money as per specified rates and provide all required documentation including bank challans, tax proofs, and manufacturer certifications. The tender opening date is 14th May 2026, and the closing date for submission is 21st May 2026 by 23:59:59. Offers must be sealed and addressed to the Directorate of Procurement (Navy) at the specified Rawalpindi address.
A practical tip for bidders is to ensure that the earnest money is submitted in a separate envelope and not inside the technical or commercial offers, as non-compliance will lead to rejection. Also, bidders should carefully follow the checklist of required documents and ensure all forms (DP-1, DP-2, DP-3) and annexes are duly filled and signed to avoid disqualification. Timely submission before the deadline is critical as late tenders will not be entertained.
